Client Workspaces for Agencies

Give every client their own home in Evaficy Smart Test — their projects grouped together, their own logo, and reports that carry their branding instead of yours.

For agency owners, account managers, and anyone running QA across several client accounts at once.

Every client you work with has its own identity — its own product, its own name, its own look. A Client Workspace brings that identity into Evaficy Smart Test itself: one place that holds a client's projects, their logo, a short description of what they build, and the URLs their team tests against — and that identity follows through to the reports you hand them back.

What a Client Workspace Gives You

Create a Client once, and three things follow automatically for every project you assign to it: your sidebar groups that client's projects under one collapsible header, the client's own details (logo, product, description, testing environments) sit right inside that project's Settings for anyone on the team to see, and — new — every Test Run Report you export carries that client's own branding instead of Evaficy's.

One home per client

Every project you assign to a client lives under that client's own collapsible heading in the sidebar — switching between clients, or showing a new hire the full picture of one client's work, is a single click.

Their brand, on their report

Add a client's logo and product name once, and every Test Run Report exported from their projects opens with their identity on the cover — not yours.

What a Client Workspace Actually Is

A Client Workspace is a real entity in Evaficy, created from Settings → Client Workspaces — not a naming convention you have to maintain by habit. It holds:

  • Client name — the internal label you and your team use for this client.
  • Logo — uploaded as a PNG, JPEG, or WebP image, shown wherever the client’s details appear.
  • Product name — the client’s own product, shown on their branded reports.
  • Description — a short note on what the client’s product does.
  • Testing environments — a list of named URLs (for example, "Staging" and "Production") specific to that client.

Available on Evaficy's Enterprise plan.

Setting One Up

1
Create the Client

From Settings → Client Workspaces, add a new client: its name, product name, description, and logo, plus any testing environments its team uses.

2
Assign a project to it

Open any project's own Settings → Details tab, and pick the client from the dropdown. You can assign as many projects to one client as that engagement needs, and change the assignment later at any time.

3
See it take effect immediately

The sidebar groups that project under the client's collapsible header right away, and the client's logo, description, and environments appear read-only in the project's own Settings — so anyone on the project sees the same context without hunting for it.

Reports That Look Like You Built Them Just for This Client

Evaficy's Test Run Report — the same exportable PDF covered in Building QA Reports Clients Actually Care About — now reads the project's assigned client automatically. If that client has a logo and product name set, the report's cover page opens with their branding instead of the default Evaficy mark.

Nothing extra to do at export time

You export the report exactly the same way as always. The branding is resolved automatically from whichever client the project belongs to — set it up once on the Client Workspace, and every report from every project under that client carries it from then on.

Client Details, Right Where You're Already Working

A client's logo, product description, and testing environments don't just live in one settings screen — they surface directly inside every project that belongs to that client, in the project's own Settings → Details tab. Anyone added to the project gets the same context immediately, without being sent to a separate page to look it up.

Fully Backward-Compatible

Client Workspaces is additive from the start. An account with no client created sees exactly the same flat project list, and exports exactly the same default-branded reports, as it always has. Creating a client and assigning projects to it is entirely your choice, whenever you're ready for it — nothing changes on existing projects until you do.

Common Questions

Does every project need to belong to a client?

No. Projects with no client assigned behave exactly as they always have — a flat list in the sidebar and default Evaficy-branded reports.

Can a project move from one client to another later?

Yes — open the project’s Settings → Details tab and pick a different client from the dropdown at any time.

What image formats work for a client logo?

PNG, JPEG, and WebP are all supported.

Is Client Workspaces available below Enterprise?

Not currently — it’s part of the Enterprise plan. See the full plan comparison on the Pricing page.

Key Takeaways

  • A Client Workspace is a real entity — name, logo, product name, description, testing environments — not a naming habit you maintain yourself.
  • Assigning a project to a client groups it under a collapsible sidebar header immediately.
  • Test Run Reports exported from an assigned project automatically carry that client’s own logo and product name on the cover page.
  • Client details surface read-only inside the project’s own Settings, so the context travels with the project.
  • Fully backward-compatible and opt-in — creating your first client changes nothing about your existing projects until you assign one.
